Nallely I. Rodriguez is a Senior Associate Attorney in Monty & Ramirez LLP’s labor and employment practice area. Nallely advises private and public employers on a multitude of employment issues including COVID-19 workplace compliance, wage and hour laws, FMLA matters, Form I-9 compliance and audits, and employment policies. She also represents and advocates on behalf of employers in DOL and ICE investigations.
Nallely is a first generation American and grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from the High School for Law and Justice where her love for the law began. She attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and Security. While at Our Lady of the Lake, Nallely developed a passion for serving underrepresented communities and volunteer work. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Nallely worked at a small personal injury firm in north Houston to learn the ins and outs of a law office.
Nallely obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2019. While studying at the Law Center, Nallely helped entrepreneurs form their businesses through UHLC’s Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic. Nallely also advocated for minorities through the Law Center’s Record Sealing Course, successfully arguing the sealing of her clients’ juvenile record sealing applications to the judges. Nallely hopes to continue her service to her community and passion for advocacy through advising employers as to their rights and obligations arising in the employment context.
