Saif relocated from Pakistan to Ottawa, Canada at a young age. After obtaining Canadian citizenship, he and his family moved from Canada to Katy, Texas. Saif watched his parents go through the employment-based immigration system and aspired to work in a field where he could make a difference for other people who were navigating the often-frightening immigration process. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 with a degree in History. Saif was then accepted at the University of Houston’s Law Center as a recipient of the Dean’s Full Tuition Scholarship. While in law school, Saif worked with the Law Center’s Immigration Clinic, where he assisted clients with a wide range of matters, from asylum claims and VAWA cases to Hague Convention international child abduction cases, giving him experience in matters outside employment-based and family immigration.
Saif also clerked at a local business immigration firm in Houston while attending law school and he then graduated from the Law Center and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2019. He joined Monty & Ramirez LLP as an Associate Attorney in 2021. In his spare time, Saif enjoys reading about history, traveling, and watching Texas A&M and Houston sports.
