The Government has Extended TPS for Sudan, Nicaragua, Haiti and El Salvador
The Government has announced the automatic extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) documentation for individuals with TPS status from Sudan, Nicaragua, Haiti, and El Salvador. The extension will last until January 1, 2020.
This extension was granted to comply with the injunction issued on October 4, 2018 by a U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of California. This injunction prevented the Government from terminating TPS for individuals from El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Sudan while legal battles proceed.
